A desktop workflow connecting recording storage, electrophysiology processing and sleep-state review. This overview describes the project while its source code remains private.

  1. 01

    Transfer

Check file integrity when moving sessions to storage.

  2. 02

    Process

    Prepare neural and cardiac signals.

  3. 03

    Score

    Use assisted sleep-state classification.

  4. 04

    Review

Inspect results, adjust scoring and save the review.

The problem

Make the workflow usable.

A multimodal session continues long after acquisition ends. Files must reach storage intact, physiological signals need preparation, and automated analysis must lead to outputs a researcher can inspect and review.

My contribution

Connect science and software.

I developed an integrated workflow for session transfer, signal processing and assisted sleep scoring. Its design connects processing progress with interactive inspection so researchers can follow a session from recording files to reviewed outputs.

Design decisions

Built around the work researchers do.

Verify data movement

File-integrity checks make transfer verification an explicit part of the workflow.

Keep processing observable

Progress tracking helps researchers follow the steps applied to a session.

Keep human review in the loop

Assisted scoring is paired with manual review and visualisation, rather than treating automated labels as final.

Evidence

What is available to inspect.

The implemented workflow covers verified session transfers, neural and cardiac signal processing, assisted sleep scoring and manual review. The public portfolio describes these capabilities at a high level; repository access and source code are not publicly available.

Scope & limitations

What to check before using it.

Scoring and signal-processing outputs require review for the recording protocol, signal quality and biological question. No clinical-use claim, independent accuracy benchmark or general performance guarantee is made here.
